■About this product This is a dehumidifying filter that separates water vapor from compressed air and nitrogen air. The separated water vapor is released into the atmosphere, so no drainage treatment is necessary. ■To achieve dehumidification effect 1. Increase the supply pressure on the inlet side 2. Increase the flow rate on the inlet side 3. Restrict the flow rate on the outlet side with a flow control valve 4. Increase the purge amount ■What is purging? Purging refers to the process of releasing a portion of the dry air supplied to the outlet side, along with the water vapor inside the membrane, to the atmosphere through a separate circuit from the outlet side (purge). - The greater the purge amount, the better the dehumidification performance, but the flow rate on the outlet side will decrease. - If the purge amount is small, the dehumidification performance will slightly decrease, but a larger flow rate can be maintained on the outlet side. ■Mechanism of water vapor separation The filter uses a hollow fiber membrane made of polyimide material, which allows water vapor to pass through easily. When humid air is passed through from the inlet side under pressure, the water vapor is separated. As a result, dry air is obtained on the outlet side. It cannot be used under reduced pressure, as the water vapor will not be separated and dehumidification will not occur.
